TWR Bonaire: From four large transmitter masts in the south of Bonaire TWR broadcasts Christian radio programs to Venezuela, Cuba, Colombia, Brazil and the Caribbean islands. In six languages ​​one can listen to the Gospel of Jesus Christ on the frequency 800 AM every day from half past six in the evening to half past eight in the morning. For the local population of Bonaire, TWR broadcasts non-stop on 89.5 FM, the Voice of Hope.

The function: After a thorough training period, the Allround Maintenance Engineer is responsible for maintaining and repairing the technical installations, the antenna masts and buildings of Trans World Radio. The maintenance engineer works in a team of four maintenance technicians.

Responsibilities:

  • Electrical – detection of electrical disturbances in installations and the execution of electrical installations
  • Plumbing work – maintenance and repair of pipes
  • Mechanical – Welding and can work with steel
  • Painting – Painting of buildings, inside and outside
  • Wood processing – Repair of furniture and wooden structures where necessary
  • Assisting in the maintenance of 4 antenna masts of 130 meters height
