We've always been a big fan of Google Maps and sometimes we tend to space out and lose a few hours online by zooming around and trying to find well known areas/buildings/streets. We're always zooming the satellite on Curacao and checking out whatever we can see but the one drawback was not having street names there to see which street you are looking at. But now with Curamap, the online roadmap for Curacao, you can easily find whatever street or address that you are looking for. Curamap shows you the roadmap and the street names while Google shows you the actual shot from above.
Combine these two sites together and you will be able to find whatever location that you are looking for here on Curacao.
If you are looking for a certain street, just open Curamap, search the street name and click on it. You will automatically be taken to the correct location on the map. You can also search by "district" or by "mainroad" if you are more comfortable with that.
And if it's still not clear for you how to get to that certain street, fire up Google Maps and get the actual view of it. When you open Google Maps, click on "Satellite" view, and scroll down to Curacao on the map. Keep zooming in until you see the streets and the houses from up top.
If you are confused as to which area of Curacao you are looking at, try to find easy to identify areas such as Punda (with the harbour, bridge etc etc), the Airport or the big crossing at Biesheuvel. Once you have spotted one of these locations, you can easily scroll and navigate over the map and pretend that you are actually driving the streets.
On the above screenshot from Google Maps you can clearly recognize the Biesheuvel traffic lights, the Goisco building, the Tax Office and the tennis courts of Rust & Burgh. Combining these two websites should help you to find whichever location that you are looking for on the island.
