T-Mobile G1 With Android Has Been Unlocked

T-Mobile G1 HTC Android T-Mobile's G1 phone running Google's Android operating system went on sale last week Thursday and it has already been unlocked. The Unlock-tmobileg1 group are the first to succeed but the one drawback is that you'll have to pay $23.99 for the code but you should be able to use your phone on any network, anywhere.

Unlocking your phone will enable you to use a sim card from any mobile network, in any country. Using the serial number of your phone, we provide a remote unlock code to remove any restrictions currently placed on your handset by your current network provider.

You will get a Service Provider code directly from your current provider.

We also provide Worldwide Unlock Code, compatible with any T-Mobile G1 phone, no matter which current provider it's locked to, Worldwide compliant.

So, if you manage to get your hands on a G1 Android and you want to unlock it to use it here on Curacao, you'll have to pony up the $23.99, for now at least. The reviews on the website are all positive and all the people who have tried it so far seem to be happy so it looks like a good investment if you want to unlock your G1.
