You have a few options if you’re looking for mobile Internet on Curacao, with Scarlet and UTS leading the way.
Scarlet Everywhere clients get a WiMAX USB modem, which can be used all across the island. Scarlet offers post-paid and pre-paid packages, with speeds ranging between 256 kbps and 1 Mbps. The wireless broadband has more information about Scarlet Everywhere.
The Scarlet One WiMAX broadband moden can also be considered “mobile”, as you don’t require a telephone line or additional cabling. The modem connects to a power outlet and to your computer or laptop, giving you the option of taking it on the road and using at a different location. You’re not completely mobile, as you’re still dependent on the power outlet, but it’s still offers more flexibility than cable or adsl connections.
Scarlet One is also available in post-paid and pre-paid packages, with speeds ranging between 128 kbps and 1 Mbps. The wireless broadband page has more information about Scarlet One.

UTS was the first company to introduce 3G on Curacao. Their 3G connection currently offers speeds up to 1 Mbps – depending on where you are on the island – but is data only. This means that you won’t be able to make or receive calls if you put the chip in your 3G enabled smartphone. The 3G page has all the information about UTS’ 3G service.
